FINAL. The feedback from the team was unanimous: the car crash was the one. But I had made it too subtle (almost invisible on some people’s screens). With an adjustment to the background colour, and a tweak to create a bit more separation between the author’s name and the title, we were there. The final cover is printed with black over a dark, metallic blue-grey, adding a subtle depth to the flat colour.
