POSITION: Educational Support Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Education Publishing

REPORTS TO: District Manager, Sales

DUTIES:

  • Follow up on marketing leads and ensure they are provided to Account Managers
  • Create a task to alert the primary Account Managers of Marketing lead status
  • Provide effective customer service
  • Contribute to the Wiley Marketing Program by developing and executing innovative marketing techniques
  • Provide general sales support to Account Managers, and serve as a second point of contact for the sales team, providing customers and Account Managers with answers to product inquiries
  • Respond to customer requests, answer questions and resolve problems for faculty members
  • Responsible for the integrity of data input and for helping maintain accurate database
  • Provide assistance in creation and management of custom course material processes
  • Invoicing for School Sales as needed
  • Monitor Back-order report & Shipping issues
  • Create DTS sites as needed
  • Invoice CEI sales on a monthly basis
  • Create presentation packages for sales team
  • Invoicing for School Sales as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 1-year professional experience, preferably in the publishing industry
  • Post Secondary education
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Creative thinker
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with strict deadlines
  • Sales experience an asset
