Candidates should also be self-starters with impeccable attention to detail, and possess a proactive and independent approach to work.
Assist with the development and execution of marketing plans, including social media campaigns, for assigned titles and imprints
Overseeing and creating original content for selected social media channels
Coordinating trade and consumer shows
Administrative support for the marketing team
Collaborate with publicity, sales, editorial teams to form and execute plans
Additional assignments, projects and responsibilities, as needed
Clear copywriting skills and superb communication skills, verbal and written
Adaptable, proactive problem-solver who enjoys a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of social media and digital marketing
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize across multiple projects
Exceptional organizational skills are a must, with a strong eye for detail
Keen interest in children’s/young adult publishing a plus
Minimum of one year experience in marketing/publishing or related field
Post-secondary degree required, degree or certificate in Book Publishing or related field is an asset
