CPYT is for Charles Pachter on YouTube

Cormorant Books has posted a video from Cormorant Films (which, as the disclaimer notes, does not actually exist … yet) of M Is For Moose author Charles Pachter reading Further Arrivals by Margaret Atwood, which he says is based on the experiences of Susanna Moodie. Pachter, in a voice perfect for storytime at the library, explains that the poem is about “coming to live in the woods and fleeing the cholera epidemic of the 1830s.” The video, just shy of two minutes long, employs all the proper film techniques, including zooming from a shot of Pachter sitting comfortably in a chair to a close-up of his face. F is for fun!
