The Canadian Film Centre and Entertainment One have named the Canadian writers participating in their inaugural TV Adaptation Lab, taking place May 31–August 31 in Toronto.
Toronto-based author and former CBC journalist Angela Misri, playwright and Theatre Brouhaha artistic director Kat Sandler, and graphic novelist Michael F. Stewart will be mentored by screenwriters including David Shore (House), Morwyn Brebner (Saving Hope, Rookie Blue), Daegan Fryklind (Motive, Bitten), and Scotiabank Giller Prize–winning novelist Lynn Coady.
The lab concludes with the opportunity for the three participants to pitch and potentially secure a TV series deal with eOne.
