Toronto’s Harbourfront neighbourhood will be home to a new literary-themed garden commemorating past Toronto Book Award winners. Each recipient of the city’s top literary accolade will be honoured with a paving stone engraved with their name and winning book title.
The garden opens to the public on Sept. 24 in front of Queens Quay terminal, preceding the annual Word on the Street Festival at Harbourfront Centre. A number of former winners will be present alongside politicians at the unveiling ceremony.
