Sue Goyette and Yi-Mei Tsiang

The League of Canadian Poets has announced the winners of the Pat Lowther and Gerald Lampert Memorial Awards, which were presented June 16 at the LCP Poetry Festival and Conference in Saskatoon.

Halifax poet Sue Goyette took home the Pat Lowther Award for her third collection, outskirts (Brick Books), and Kingston, Ontario, writer Yi-Mei Tsiang won the Lampert Award for her debut collection Sweet Devilry (Oolichan Books). Both winners received $1,000.
