Jeffrey Round’s Lake on the Mountain (Dundurn Press), the first novel in his Dan Sharp Mystery series, has won a Lambda Literary Award in the gay-mystery category.
The awards, which celebrate achievement in lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender writing, were presented on June 3 at a ceremony in New York City.
Other Canadian nominees included Rae Spoon, Kamal Al-Solaylee, Barry Webster, Anthony Bidulka, C.E. Gatchalian, and Alex Leslie.
