The Alberta Book Publishing Awards, honouring the best titles produced by the province’s presses over the past year, were celebrated at a gala on Sept. 18 at Fort Edmonton Park. The 30th anniversary of the Book Publishers Association of Alberta was also celebrated.
The evening was hosted by Ken Davis, Alberta book advocate and director of marketing and communications at the Citadel Theatre, with a keynote address by author and comedian Darrell Dennis.
