On Oct. 5, Toronto indie bookseller and culture hub A Different Booklist was honoured with a Premier’s Award for Excellence in the Arts‚ an annual provincial award, now in its 10th year‚ recognizing artists and arts institutions for their contributions to the community. Premier Kathleen Wynne presented co-owns Miguel San Vicente and Itah Sadu with their honour at a ceremony at the Art Gallery of Ontario.

A Different Booklist focuses on providing specialty titles by African-Canadian and Caribbean authors‚ and is a partner in diversity with the literary projects and events it hosts and supports.
