American-Canadian neuroscientist Daniel J. Levitin was named winner of this year’s $30,000 National Business Book Award on April 24. Levitin’s book, A Field Guide to Lies: Critical Thinking in the Information Age (Allen Lane Canada), about discerning truth in  digital age, was selected from a longlist chosen by a jury chaired by CBC chief correspondent Peter Mansbridge.
