Typography nuts should check out Penguin Drop Caps, a 26-volume hardcover series of classic literature featuring covers by type designer Jessica Hische, in collaboration with Penguin art director Paul Buckley. Hische is a sought-after designer and illustrator, whose distinctive typographical work appeared in Wes Anderson’s 2012 film Moonrise Kingdom.
The alphabet-inspired collection starts with “A” for Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and ends with “Z” for Carlos Ruiz Zafon’s The Shadow of the Wind.
