Former U.S. president George W. Bush’s memoir, Decision Points, is coming out next Tuesday. The following week, he will be opening the Miami Book Fair International. The Washington Post reports:
Tickets to Bush’s presentation are $40. That includes a presigned copy of the book, which comes out Nov. 9. Crown Publishers has said it will have a print run of 1.5 million copies.
Conservative website the Drudge Report released its take on passages from the book last week:
Bush pulls back the curtain with a strikingly personal work that takes very few shots at his critics … “It was a simple question, ‘Can you remember the last day you didn’t have a drink?'” So begins President George W. Bush in the opening chapter [“Quitting”] from the most anticipated book of the season.
