Newfoundland writer Kenneth J. Harvey’s 2003 novel The Town That Forgot How to Breathe (originally published by Raincoast) has been given the musical treatment by Italian rock band De La Vega.

The book was a bestseller in Italy, winning that country’s Libro del Mare award  in 2005. Harvey was the first Canadian to take home the prize.
