While visiting Prince Edward Island  as part of the royal couple’s Canadian tour, Prince William and his wife Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, were presented with a Puffin Classics edition of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables.

The book is one of Kate’s childhood favourites.
