A large crowd of supporters packed the Propeller Centre for the Visual Arts in Toronto on June 30 for the Broadsheet Magazine fundraiser. The event featured readings by Sarah Selecky, Matthew J. Trafford, and Jessica Westhead as well as raffles and musical performances by folk artists Sarah Greene and Shawn Clarke.
The pilot issue of the literary journal, which will contain short fiction and comic strips, is expected to launch this September.
