Photo slideshow: Kingston WritersFest 2011

An impressive crowd of more than 4,000 bibliophiles attended the third Kingston WritersFest, which kicked off Sept. 22 with a sold-out theatre eager to listen to J.M. Coetzee. The South African“born literary icon also brought American writer Paul Auster on stage for a world premiere reading of their friendship in letters.

Over 60 authors appeared in 43 events throughout the four-day festival. Here are a few of the photo highlights:
