Carl Wilson expands Let’s Talk about Love; now with more James Franco

Back in 2008, Toronto music writer Carl Wilson achieved rock-star status thanks to his treatise on taste, Let’s Talk About Love. Using his dislike of Céline Dion as a starting point for a discussion about popular music and personal taste, the book landed Wilson a spot on The Colbert Report and gained him high-profile fans such as the indefatigable actor/artist/writer James Franco.

Bloomsbury, which published Let’s Talk About Love as part of its 33 1/3 series, has just announced an expanded edition of the book, due out March 13. The book will feature a new cover and 13 essays, including entries from Franco, Mary Gaitskill, Owen Pallett, Nick Hornby, former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, and Sheila Heti.
