The Festival of Literary Diversity is expanding its year-round programming with the launch of Writers at the Rose, a new reading series in Brampton, Ontario.
The series will be hosted at the Rose performing-arts venue, in partnership with the Brampton Public Library, pairing high-profile moderators and interviewers with various writers. Each live presentation will be followed by an audience Q&A.
The first event is scheduled for Feb. 8, when Karl Subban, father of P.K. Subban and author of the book How We Did It: The Subban Plan for Success in Hockey, School, and Life, will take the stage with FOLD artistic director Jael Richardson.
Tickets are available through the Rose box office.
