It's Pepper time — again

The media cult around Doug Pepper continues to grow with a brief piece in the Toronto alternative weekly eye. The M&S president has made the paper’s “Five for ’05” list of things that “may make 2005 a little better than 2004.” Lately, writes Bert Archer, M&S has “become representative of the problems of Canadian non-fiction, with lists dominated by World War II and hockey titles.” But he’s betting on Pepper to usher in “more big books of universal significance, like No Logo…. With Pepper’s help, we may be able to get more of our brains on the page and out into the world.”
