As reported on Q&Q Omni, the lineup for the BOOKED! author festival has been officially released, following a leak earlier this week. The Globe and Mail reported on the announcement today as well, focusing, naturally enough, on Stephen King’s appearance.

All well and good, but one line in the Globe story raised a few puzzled eyebrows here in the Quillblog home office: reporter James Adams notes that BOOKED is a tie-in to “BookExpo Canada, the annual ‘Woodstock’ of Canadian publishers and booksellers.”

We can only assume he’s referring to all the mud dancing and bad acid at a typical BookExpo.
