IFOA launches new website

Poised to kick off its 40th season of weekly readings later this month, the Authors at Harbourfront Centre debuts a new website and re-brand today.

The readings, which run from September to June annually, will now be known as IFOA Weekly. Joseph Boyden will read from his new novel, The Orenda, at the first event Sept. 18. Boyden will also be interviewed onstage by the CBC’s Matt Galloway.

The rebranded series is named for the annual International Festival of Authors, which will take place from Oct. 24 to Nov. 3. Additionally, the IFOA hosts two festivals for young readers: YoungIFOA in October and the Ontario Library Association’s Forest of Reading Festival of Trees, in mid-May.
