A select group of publishing professionals will soon descend on Toronto for the sixth edition of the International Visitors Programme, an industry-networking event running Oct. 27–31 in conjunction with the International Festival of Authors.

As editor, he initiated a re-translation of Fyodor Dostoevsky, which has become a model for the industry. Since 1999, Balmes has worked for S. Fischer in Frankfurt, where he is responsible for translated fiction. He is also co-editor of the literary journal <i>NeueRundschau</i>.

- Chiki Sarkar is publisher of Penguin Books India. After graduating from Oxford University, Sarkar was employed by Bloomsbury Publishing in London for seven years before returning to Delhi to head up the new Random House India. As the company's first editor-in-chief, Sarkar worked with authors such as Jhumpa Lahiri, Anita Desai, Salman Rushdie, Mohammed Hanif, and Rujuta Diwekar. In July 2011, Sarkar became publisher of Penguin Books India, the country's largest publishing house.

Delloye has worked with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, mostly in the Official Development Assistance and cultural section, and been appointed to various countries such as Tunisia, Nicaragua, U.S., and Ireland. Delloye is a member of the association behind Etonnants Voyageurs, a book and film festival held in France.
