Canadian authors Margaret Atwood and Margaret MacMillan, along with Montreal photographer Velibor Božović, will join a roster of more than 222 authors from India and abroad at the 2016 ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival, which runs from Jan. 21–25.
Other names scheduled to appear include 2015 Man Booker Prize winner Marlon James, Irish novelist Colm Tóibín, U.K. novelist and politician Ferdinand Mount, and actor and writer Stephen Fry.
Founded in 2006, the free event attracts, on average, 250,000 patrons each year. Past attendees have included Jonathan Franzen, Oprah Winfrey, Salman Rushdie, and the Dalai Lama.
