The Medusa Plot: Cahills vs. Vespers, Book One

by Gordon Korman

Since 2008, millions of young readers have followed Dan and Amy Cahill around the globe and through 10 volumes of the thrilling, multi-author 39 Clues series. After the final book’s amazing conclusion, the Cahills were supposed to go on and lead a completely normal lives. Which they did … for a while.

The first instalment in an all-new series of adventures, features an old adversary: the Vespers. The evil clan kidnaps seven elite members of the Cahill family, forcing Amy and Dan to begin another epic hunt. If they do not complete their mission, the other Cahills will die.

Gordon Korman, a 39 Clues veteran, does a great job creating the same intensity and tension as the earlier books. Also, in keeping with the previous series’ globetrotting, the new book offers an enticing tour of Italy.

All the extras from the previous books are preserved here, with links to online games and clue cards included. An excellent start to an epic, new hunt.
