Questions that kids might come up with at nighttime are tackled in Owl’s latest “Question and Answer” book. Stumpers such as “Why do tulips close up at night?” and “Why do I yawn when I’m tired?” are answered with clear, simple explanations that are well supported by lively illustrations. Why Do Stars Twinkle? is an entertaining and informative book that kids will enjoy sharing with their parents or teachers. It is rather thin, however, and it will leave many readers wanting more. Perhaps the next book in this series might present more answers; there is no doubt kids could easily supply lots of questions.
