Margaret Atwood named keynote speaker for Toronto SpecFic Colloquium

The Chiaroscuro Reading Series has announced Margaret Atwood will give the keynote address at its 2016 Toronto SpecFic Colloqium, a science-fiction, fantasy, and horror writing event taking place at the University of Toronto’s Innis Town Hall on March 12.

Atwood will speak on the role of science-fiction in her life and art, and joins a roster of Canadian authors including A.M. Dellamonica, Peter Chiykowski, Andrew Pyper, Michael Rowe, and Peter Watts, who will give lectures, perform readings, and helm discussions on topics relating to genre fiction.
