The German translation of B.C.-based* author Cheryl Kaye Tardif’s bestselling 2011 thriller Children of the Fog has been recognized with the Amazon.de Reader’s Choice Award.

The novel, about a mother’s downward spiral after her son is kidnapped by a man only she can identify, was translated by Ingrid Könemann-Yarnell as Des Nebels Kinder and published under Amazon Crossing, Amazon’s imprint for works in translation.

Tardif – who also founded ebook-focused press Imajin Books – will be presented with the award at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
