Packing for a move, especially if you have shelves full of books, is always a tough job. But imagine what that experience must be like for a publisher.
HarperCollins, which has confirmed it is in the early stages of preparing to move to a new Toronto location in spring 2018 – has found a way to ease the burden. According to publicity director Colleen Simpson, the publisher will be selling a large selection of backlist titles, mostly priced between $1–$3 at this Sunday’s Word on the Street in Toronto. All proceeds will go to First Book Canada, which will be working the booth with HarperCollins.
