Event photos: Malone, Moroney, Ladouceur, and more

October has been such a busy month, it’s been hard to keep up with all the book-related events. On Oct. 11, over 200 people attended Shannon Moroney’s book launch for Through the Glass (Random House Canada) at Toronto’s Gladstone Hotel. Also at the popular Gladstone on Oct. 4, author and Globe and Mail columnist Russell Smith hosted the ECW Press launch for Liisa Ladouceur’s Encyclopedia Gothica (if Skinny Puppy or mall goths mean anything to you, pick it up).

Nimbus Publishing imprint Vagrant Press was busy with the launch of two novels, Stephens Gerard Malone’s Big Town and Jamie Fitzpatrick’s You Could Believe in Nothing. The Nimbus team also found time to participate in the Stick-It to Prostate Cancer ball-hockey tournament in Halifax, playing alongside former NHL defenceman Rod Seiling.
