Riffing on ideas in B.C.

Monday Magazine in Victoria is reporting the emergence of a new B.C. literary magazine, The Pacific Rim Review of Books. Founder Richard Olafson is quoted as saying the PRRB is “intended to create dialogue … rather than just do a basic review, we allow our writers the flexibility to riff on their ideas. As a writer and someone interested in books, I want to reach beyond the normal parochialism that seems to infect the literary culture in Canada.”
