Ripple Foundation’s annual Kids Write 4 Kids contest open for entries

The annual Kids Write 4 Kids contest held by Ripple Foundation, a national youth education charity, is now open for entries. Young writers in grades 4–8 across Canada are encouraged to submit an original piece of creative writing for the chance of becoming a published author.

“Every year, we’re amazed by the imagination and originality that shines through in each story,” said Ivy Wong, founder of Ripple Foundation, in the press release. “Kids Write 4 Kids not only celebrates young voices but also empowers students to give back through their creativity.”

Contest winners will have their creative work published in print and as ebooks that will be available on platforms such as Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play Books, and OverDrive. All proceeds from book sales will be donated to the winner’s charity of choice.

The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2026.
