2013 Sunburst Award winners announced

This year’s Sunburst Awards for Excellence in Canadian Literature of the Fantastic were presented to Martine Desjardins for her novel Maleficium (Talonbooks) and, in the Young Adult category, to Rachel Hartman for Seraphina (Doubleday Canada).Selected by a jury comprising Rebecca Bradley, Tony Burgess, Shari Lapeña, Barbara Roden, and Leon Rooke, the authors of the two winning books each receive $1,000.
