William Gibson inducted into the Canadian sci-fi and fantasy hall of fame

Neuromancer1988The Canadian Science Fiction & Fantasy Association has established a hall of fame for writers and supporters of the genres. The 2014 inductees are Neuromancer author William Gibson, and husband-wife authors (and frequent collaborators) Spider Robinson and Jeanne Robinson.

CSFFA has also added six past recipients of the Aurora Awards for Lifetime Achievement, including authors Robert J. Sawyer and A.E. van Vogt, and the late critic Susan Wood. Two people or groups will be inducted each year.

The 2014 inductees will be honoured at the annual Aurora Awards presentation at VCON 39 on Oct. 4. The nominees for each category are listed here.
