4. I posted the cover on Facebook, and the response was mixed. Some people had big problems with the dead kitten. Apparently, there are some lines you just don’t cross. I was asked to make the kitten more like the scaly creature described in the book. I used a different head, which I tried to make more sinister. The head was a non-starter, but the scales were moving in the right direction.
