Arsenal Pulp Press receives B.C. publisher of the year award

Arsenal Pulp publisher Brian Lam

The Association of Book Publishers of British Columbia is presenting its annual Jim Douglas Publisher of the Year Award to Arsenal Pulp Press. The Vancouver indie publisher is being recognized for “the critical work the press is doing to increase representation of diverse communities and to make space for new voices.”

Kelowna bookseller Michael Neill – owner of Mosaic Books and the point-of-sale program TBM Bookmanager – will receive the Gray Campbell Distinguished Service Award.

The recipients will be honoured at a reception to be held in Vancouver on Feb. 13.
