The Canadian Coalition for the Arts has put out a last-minute call to action for permanent federal investment in the Canada Council for the Arts in advance of the coming federal budget, which will be tabled on Nov. 5.

The letter writing campaign is in support of the pre-budget submission made by the Canadian Arts Coalition, a non-partisan advocacy coalition of national associations, arts organizations, and artists, for an expanded permanent investment of $140 million in public arts funding through the Canada Council for the Arts.

The letter-writing campaign to MPs and senators has a deadline of Friday, Oct. 30. A standard letter is provided by the CCA on their website.
