Two Canadian authors are up for this year’s Triangle Awards, which honour the best LGBTQ fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and trans and gender-variant literature, published the year prior.
Catherine Hernandez‘s novel Scarborough is nominated for the Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction. Kai Cheng Thom’s poetry collection A Place Called No Homeland is up for the Publishing Triangle Award for Trans and Gender-Variant Literature. Both titles are published by Arsenal Pulp Press.
The awards will be presented on April 26 at a ceremony in New York City.
