Inhabit Education Books is now Arvaaq Press.

Arvaaq is an Inuktitut word that means “baby bowhead whale.” The new logo depicting two bowhead whales, one adult and one infant, represents “the company’s commitment to publishing educational materials that facilitate teaching, learning, and the transfer of knowledge between generations,” the comapny said in a press release.

The branding will be rolled out over the next few months, and will include the renaming of associated social media channels. Arvaaq Press is set to appear on printed books beginning in spring 2024.
