Jennifer Lambert named PACLA Person of the Year

HarperCollins Canada editor-in-chief Jennifer Lambert has been named the recipient of the 2025 Professional Association of Canadian Literary Agents (PACLA) Person of the Year award.

The award, now in its third year, recognizes “exemplary individuals in editing, publicity and marketing, or sales, who have gone above and beyond in the support of our author clients.”

“Jenn’s editorial eye, attention to detail, collaborative spirit, and exceptional author care have positively contributed to the Canadian and international publishing landscape for decades. She works equally well with established authors and debut writers, and has always helped to demystify and humanize the publishing process,” Rachel Letofsky, former PACLA secretary and senior agent at Transatlantic Agency, said in a press release.

The award was first awarded in 2023 to author and festival director Jael Richardson.
