Kevin Connolly joins Anansi as poetry editor

House of Anansi Press has announced that Toronto poet Kevin Connolly has come on board as poetry editor. Effective immediately, Connolly replaces Damian Rogers, who stepped down to focus on her own writing. Her forthcoming memoir, An Alphabet for Joanna, publishes with Knopf Canada in 2019.

Connolly, who teaches in the University of Guelph-Humber’s MFA program, has published three books of poetry with Anansi, with another, Xiphoid Process, forthcoming in April. He is a Trillium Poetry Prize recipient and has been a finalist for the Griffin Poetry Prize and the Gerald Lampert Award. He has served as a poetry board member for past three years with McClelland & Stewart, and was poetry editor at Coach House Books from 2008–2013.
