On behalf of the Quill & Quire staff, I am delighted to welcome Inderjit Deogun as our new Books for Young People editor. Many of you may already be familiar with her work as a children’s book reviewer for Q&Q since 2015, and for the Canadian Children’s Book News and CM: Canadian Review of Materials.

She has worked in both children’s book retailing and publishing, for environmental organizations, and has volunteered with multiple initiatives including the Children’s Book Bank.

Her degree and continuing education from the University of Toronto and Ryerson University: The Chang School includes studies in publishing for both children and teens.
