Second Story Press holds its annual Indigenous Writing Contest

Second Story Press is now accepting submissions for its third annual Indigenous Writing Contest. The aim is to find writing that reflects the experience of Indigenous peoples in Canada.

Indigenous writers aged 18 and older are encouraged to submit original, previously unpublished fiction or nonfiction manuscripts for young audiences.

A three-person jury comprised of Jodie Callaghan, Nancy Cooper, and Margie Wolfe will select the finalist.

The contest is open until April 16. The winner, to be announced on June 24, will be offered a publishing contract from Second Story Press.
