Town of Collingwood is seeking its first poet laureate

The Ontario resort town of Collingwood is hoping to find a poet or spoken word artist to fill the role as its inaugural poet laureate.

Interested wordsmiths need not be a resident of the town, but should “demonstrate a connection to the culture of the area such as our artistic community, natural surroundings or territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation.”
