The Writers’ Trust of Canada is substantially expanding its RBC Bronwen Wallace Award for Emerging Writers program.
Since its inception in 1994, the $10,000 award has alternated annually between poetry and short fiction. For the first time this year, two $10,000 prizes will be presented: one for an outstanding collection of unpublished poetry and one for an exceptional work of unpublished short fiction. Separate juries will establish the winners.
The prizes are open to unpublished writers under the age of 35. Submissions are open until Feb. 25.
