The Writers’ Trust/McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize, which recognizes Canada’s best magazine-published short fiction by emerging authors, has revealed the 2019 jury.
Authors Carleigh Baker (Bad Endings, Anvil Press), Catherine Hernandez (Scarborough, Arsenal Pulp Press), and Joshua Whitehead (Jonny Appleseed, Arsenal Pulp) will select this year’s finalists and winner.
The deadline for submissions is Feb. 8. The winner, who will receive $10,000, will be announced at the Writers’ Trust Awards ceremony in November.
