HarperCollins offers online resources for connecting with authors and booksellers

The COVID-19 era has required booksellers to get creative. To help connect independent bookstores with readers, HarperCollins Canada has launched a new hub of digital resources, branded HarperPresents… From Home.

A directory of events featuring HarperCollins authors will be posted on HarperPresents.ca. Upcoming events include a #FantasyFriday Twitter chat lead by @IndigoTeen on May 15 and “Historical Fiction High Tea,” a May 23 panel on Zoom lead by The Gown author Jennifer Robson.

The publisher has also launched Bookstorefinder.ca to map independent bookstores. The map includes updates for which stores are open, delivering, and offering pickup.
