An anthology from Edmonton-based publisher Laberinto Press has won a silver medal at the 2022 International Latino Book Awards.

Beyond the Gallery: An Anthology of Visual Encounters, edited by Liuba Gonzalez de Armas, Ana Ruiz Aguirre, and Luciana Erregue, and published in 2021, is a multilingual and multi-genre collection of writing on visual culture. It won silver medal in the Best Culturally Themed Academic Book category.

The awards were presented in Los Angeles, California in August.
