Shortlists announced for 2024 LCP Book Awards

The League of Canadian Poets has announced the shortlists for its three annual book awards. The winner of each award receives $2,000.

The Gerald Lampert Award honours debut books of poetry, while the Pat Lowther Memorial Award honours poetry collections by women. The Raymond Souster Award honours the best new books of poetry by league members. Each shortlist was chosen by a different three-poet jury.

The shortlists were chosen from the longlists announced last week. The winners will be announced on May 1.
