The 15-title longlist for next year’s CBC Canada Reads competition has been announced.
The 2024 edition of the annual battle of the books is looking for “one book to carry us forward,” and the longlist has collected a group of books that includes novels, graphic novels, and memoir that are “finding the resilience and the hope needed to carry on” in moments of uncertainty.
The shortlisted books and the five panelists who will represent them will be announced on January 11, 2024. The Canada Reads debates will take place from March 4 to 7.
The longlisted books are:
